Abstract

End users are placing ever greater demands on the filter media they use. This in turn is forcing filter manufacturers and their media suppliers to acknowledge the value that the right filter medium for the right application can add, rather than seeing such material simply as a commodity. Alexandra Duran of Kimberly-Clark, focuses on indoor air filtration applications and discusses the many currently available nonwoven filter materials, highlighting both their pros and cons.
