Abstract

The ACGME requires all pediatric residents to achieve competency in 11 core procedures. During resident training, hands-on procedural experience is frequently challenging. It is therefore incumbent on programs to devise new strategies for meaningful trainee exposure to these procedures. With this in mind, we developed an innovative, longitudinal curriculum involving simulation.
