Abstract

Abstract : A versatile, inexpensive laboratory data acquisition and control unit has been developed. A VIC-20 microcomputer is used in conjunction with an expansion chassis and plug in interfaces which make it applicable to a wide variety of real time laboratory control and data acquisition tasks. A system of this type can be built for much less than one thousand dollars.
