Abstract
A framework for a two-way interaction between laser machine operator and a laser machine supplier in the direction of Laser Process Quality Control (LPQC) is proposed. An optical system is used to verify the beam alignment referred to the nozzle hole and the wear state of the nozzle in terms of process quality. The proposed framework provides the basis to laser suppliers for shifting their business model to Servitization. A case study is presented with the provided Industrial Product-Service System to consist of a laser-cutting machine and a service entitled LPQC.
