Abstract

Described is a small late prehistoric or early historic winter village in north-central Yellow stone County, Montana. It consisted of six log lodges in well protected locations among the rocks near the edge of a small cuesta. One problematical structure and a circle of stones were also present. In questionable association was a small sample of Intermountain tradition pottery and a scanty assemblage of stone arti facts.
