Abstract

The phenomenological differential equation of the magnetic after-effect was solved for different measuring conditions. Under appropriate conditions the dynamic response functions have the simple Debye form similar to those for internal friction. The experiments on Fe, Fe-0.009 Al and Fe-50 Ni samples with different carbon quantities are in good agreement with the correct solution.
