Abstract

An improved system of HRB (high-resolution Bragg reflection) method was constructed and used for velocity and absorption measurements in toluene up to 2.1GHz. The results show a strong velocity dispersion around 8GHz, which is interpretted in terms of vibration-to-translation relaxation process of toluene molecules.
