Abstract
In order to enhance the efficiency and reliability of transmitting varying application messages in intelligent transportation system, we presented an improved Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) scheme for service channels of IEEE 802.11p Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks, which combined OFDM technique with identity authentication and dynamic sub-carriers allocation algorithm. OFDM sub-channels could be adaptively adjusted according to the load status of service channels and different QoS requirements. The implementation method of proposed scheme was discussed in detail, and the performance was verified by theoretical analysis and simulation.
