Abstract

An improved model for determining the throughput of a gas pipeline that takes into account inertial and gravitational components is proposed. It is shown that with the use of the model calculations may be performed not only for horizontal, but also for inclined gas pipelines. The use of the proposed technique yields improved results for measurements of the parameters of a gas travelling through a pipe.
