Abstract
Abstract A model for computing the albedos and BRDF (bidirectional reflectance distribution function) of inhomogeneous land surfaces consisting of two different components has been developed. An empirical equation, based on the model results, for calculating albedos of inhomogeneous land surfaces and avoiding errors caused by shadowing effect was set up.
