Abstract
In our guinea-pig breeding unit some difficulty has been experienced in providing adequate, clean drinking water. When open pots were used the water rapidly became fouled, whilst bottles which had a nozzle were rapidly emptied by the animals playing with the nozzle, not only depriving the animals of water but also flooding the litter tray. The drinking bottle described here overcomes these problems and has other advantages.
