Abstract

This paper proposes a distributed control strategy, leveraging gossip-based communication, for combined economic emission dispatch (CEED) in smart grids. It optimizes economic dispatch while considering separate objectives for SO2, NOx, CO2 emissions. The network is modeled as a Bernoulli process to describe stochastic communication link failures. Utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weights between multiple objectives in the CEED to aid decision-makers at thermal power plants in selecting appropriate solutions based on the actual conditions of power grid. Simulation results demonstrate the strategy effectiveness.
