Abstract

The undisturbed red clay was conducted true triaxial test and numerical simulation for a deep foundation pit. By analyzing the changes in characteristic of strength parameter of red clay, the method for calculating the safety factor of deep excavation in red clay was obtained. Meanwhile, a method was proposed for determining calculation weights of the safety and constructability of support scheme based on the unloading effect of different excavation depths and the constraint conditions at different positions. Besides, an Analytic Network Process (IANP) evaluation model was established for the support schemes of deep foundation pit and its engineering application was analyzed. By comparing with the calculation results of actual support schemes and different evaluation methods, the evaluation results of the Improved Analytic Network Process (IANP) evaluation model based on deep foundation pits in red clay is proved to be more effective and reasonable.
