Summary
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are composed of plenty of sensor nodes deployed in the monitoring field. The range-based algorithms, such as time difference of arrival (TDOA),[2] received signal strength (RSS),[3] angle of arrival (AOA),[4] and time of arrival (TOA),[5] need to use the distance or angle information between neighbors to locate, and some of them may even need precise clock synchronization.
