Abstract

Battery energy storage station (BESS) is an important supporting technology for the construction of new power system under high penetration of distribution energy resources. As the power system continues to develop in an environmentally friendly direction, BESS has become an essential element in new power system. It is necessary to carry out research on the comprehensive benefits of BESS in all aspects. First, this paper designs a complete indicator system for BESS in economic, social, technical, and environmental aspects. Then, a corresponding evaluation method is proposed, which improve the weight in traditional method based on one-dimensional project pursuit and the simulated annealing optimization algorithm. Finally, five actual BESS in China verify the proposed method. In addition, the comparison between traditional method and the method we propose have shown that our proposed method is more reasonable and in accordance with the actual situation.
