An Improved Algorithm of Moving Object Detection Based on Background Subtraction and Consecutive Frame Diffidence

Abstract

For moving object detection, the background subtraction is susceptible to the Lighting conditions change and other interference factors, and the frame difference has well adaptability for the Lighting conditions change. Considering this condition, this paper provide an improved self-adaptive background updating method which combines with the background subtraction and frame difference. The experimental results show that the improved method possesses higher efficiency in detecting moving object.
