The data was collected by giving the intervention of education about postpartum self care to the postpartum mothers and their families through media of booklets and module to 100 respondents chosen by using purposive sampling. The result of this research confirmed that the perception of the postpartum mothers and their families about 'early and immediately period self care' with coeficient α = 0,05 from 'p value' for each was 0,00. It means that there is a significant influence of postnatal education toward the perception about self care on early and immediately period of the postpartum mothers and their families.
