Abstract
Results of assessment of the mechanical characteristics of the filaments used for the production of LUP carbon tape with different types of coatings, as well as the thickness of the coatings determined by measuring of the filaments’ diameters before and after coating and with the help of an atomic-force microscope, are given. Two types of one-layer coatings made of BT1-0 titanium and 12Kh18N10T stainless steel, as well as a double-layer coating containing titanium layer coated with the stainless steel layer, are considered in this work.
