Abstract

There are many proposed identity-based digital signature protocols based on bilinear pairings. But the computation of pairing is time-consuming, the performance of those agreements is unacceptable. An Identity based digital signature protocol which based on ECDSA is proposed in this paper. As a result, up to 95% of the computation cost can be saved when compared to other identity based signature protocols using pairing. The proposed protocol can be implemented by the exiting component of ECDSA.
