Abstract

Many studies have been carried on the influences of anomaly on sentence reading abroad, but there are not a lot in China. The study designed three types of sentences, including plausible sentences, semantic anomaly sentences and pragmatic anomaly sentences, made use of the Hi-speed eye tracker, and did experiments on twenty Mongolian college student to find out the influences of anomaly on their English sentence reading.
