Abstract

Content Delivery Networks (CDN) is one of the most promising technologies that enhance performance for its customers' websites by redirecting web requests from browsers to geographically distributed CDN surrogate nodes. Due to the flexible nature of CDN, it suffers from various security and resource allocation issues. There are several techniques have been implemented in literature to thwart the attacks in networking environment, Game theory is the most popular techniques used against intrusion problem. This paper presents an optimal hybrid algorithm for Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) against intrusion. This contains the novel game theory driven approach and honeypot techniques to detect, prevent and response to the intrusion and other resource allocation issues, this work is named as E-IPDRS. In specific, E-IPDRS prevents CDN from intrusion and unauthenticated behaviors.
