Abstract

In this paper, from specific national conditions of social transition that the difference of the share of resources between high-income groups and low-income groups,the author explored the underlying causes for formation that a gap between Chinese woman’s and man’s life expectancy is narrower than world average, by analyzing the relationship between Chinese traditional feudal patriarchal ideology and women's current status, which led to social trends of "beauty economy", "sex commercialization and sexual trade", indicating that the current health status of Chinese women is unfavorable, which is not being matched with the current stage of economic, social development. The development of the maternity insurance system is lagging behind, the legitimate interests of women is difficult to be protected, and system building involved in women's issues lacks a harmonious unity.
