Abstract

In a threatened species Cupressus dupreziana (A. Camus) explants taken from the apical part of shoots were cultured. Successful growth of shoots was achieved in cultures grown in vitro. The shoots were rooted and regenerant plants were obtained. Important manifestations of the organism were found to reveal the biology of the Tassilian cypress.
