Abstract

Angular distributions for the 6Li(n, p) 6He(g.s.) reaction were measured at 14 MeV and compared with our previously reported 6Li(p, p') 6Li (3.56 MeV) results and with 6Li(p, n) 6Be(g.s.) data. These three ΔT = ΔS = 1 angular distributions are similar in shape and the ratios of cross sections agree with the hypothesis of charge independence. Existing data, which display an energy dependence of the angular distributions for these transitions, are also presented.
