Abstract
An analysis of the heat transfer process in the corrugated steel sheet solar water heater and a simplified test procedure for determining the collector efficiency equation are presented. By experiment, the collector efficiency equation is found to be η = 0.68 − 7 (T c − T a) I , the efficiency factor of collector is over 0.94, and the space temperature is 7°C higher than the collector temperature. The efficiency equation obtained by the simplified procedure coincides with that obtained by the standard procedure.
