Abstract

Abstract We report on a photoelectron diffraction experiment performed on the (110) face of InP at a photon energy of 55 eV. The In 4d peaks were resolved into their surface and bulk components and then azimuthal patterns were drawn for both components. The resulting patterns show large anisotropies (~ 65%) different for surface and bulk. A first comparison to SSC calculations tends to favour a high degree of rotation for the reconstruction of the surface.
