An Experimental Analysis of GPS Based Security System for Women Using IoT

Abstract

In the modern era, as the technology increases, tradition gets changed a lot. But in this era, the crime rate against the women and children has been increasing drastically. Women and children became unsafe to travel alone, inside and outside the city. But now a day’s women are working in various departments and fields to learn about the society and for their economic income. If they get into a trouble they need to inform about the situation to their family or to the patrol. And also they need to share their location details for the rescue process. So in this paper, a GPS based security system is developed to help the people, who need immediate attention towards them. The device consists of GPS sensor which is connected to an IoT module. The IoT module waits for the user command and one the command is received it collects the location coordinates and sends the location data with an alert message to the predefined email id. And if the device crossed a certain boundary even if the user didn’t initiate any command also the alert message with be send with the gps coordinates to the predefined email id.
