Abstract

The continuing rise of alcohol-related crime in Britain has been documented in a series of reports, papers and policy recommendations and has generated some urgency in devising a variety of experimental measures to meet this social problem. The authors describe a pilot project undertaken by Aquarius, a voluntary organisation, together with the Probation team at Winson Green Prison.
