Abstract

Abstract In children, peak incidence of testicular torsion occurs either in the neonatal period with extra vaginal torsion either during puberty with intra vaginal torsion. Preventive contralateral orchiopexy for intra vaginal torsion is routine but remain controversial in neonatal extra-vaginal torsion. This very unusual case of extra-vaginal torsion in a 14-year-old teenager suggests that controlateral orchiopexy should be systematically done, regardless of the age.
