Abstract
This paper examines the impact of flexible open office group work spaces on group work and workers. As a case study, two flexible group spaces were evaluated by means of a post occupancy evaluation. The evaluation methodology was driven by a series of seven hypotheses related to how the physical setting may impact group effectiveness in relation to group tasks, tools and work styles. The findings indicate that flexibility in open plan group work spaces is highly valued by the users.
