Abstract
针对全球城市化带来的挑战, 南加州大学的David Bollier提出将信息技术应用于城市规划的新理念。IBM响应了这一理念, 于2008年启动“智慧地球”(Smart Planet)计划。此后, 智慧城市概念迅速被全球各大城市采用, 逐渐演变为先进城市的战略选择。本文通过回顾智慧城市概念的提出和探讨智慧城市的本质, 来研究智慧城市发展和演进的趋势。具体而言, 我们调查了中国智慧城市发展的关键驱动力, 总结了中国与其他国家智慧城市的主要差异, 讨论了建设未来智慧城市的4大重要挑战。
