Abstract
Evaluation method for the reproduction system of optical digital disk has been developed. For differentiated and differential detection methods, either of which are typical reproduction system to (2-7)RLL-RZ recording, the relationship between recording density and bit error rate was estimated taking signal to noise ratio and recording pit shape into consideration.
