Abstract
Analysis of 157 surgically treated cases of carcinoma of the endometrium at the Roosevelt Hospital has shown no benefit from pre-operative irradiation with intrauterine radium. The best results in the early cases and with tumors of low histologic grade were obtained by hysterectomy alone. Postoperative x-ray therapy appeared to be of value in advanced cases and possibly for tumors of high histologic grading.
