Abstract
In this Australian study, a pre-test/post-test design was used to evaluate a wellness guide, developed as part of a health promotion programme for older carers. Accessible via the web but downloadable, the guide has 15 chapters covering a range of topics including becoming a carer, diet, managing stress and respite care, and incorporates a directory of community organisations for carers. The pre-test questionnaire was delivered at the time carers were given the guide, and the post-test four months later.
