Abstract

The single reliability index of urban rail transit traction power supply system (URT-TPSS) is difficult to analyze and evaluate the system reliability objectively. Therefore, this paper presents a comprehensive reliability evaluation method of traction power supply system (TPSS). It is based on Mean-Variance Approach (MVA) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), called MV-TOPSIS. This method firstly uses the MVA to calculate the corresponding weight of each reliability index of the TPSS, then uses the TOPSIS to calculate the relative proximity of the sample point to the optimal sample point, and finally realizes the comprehensive evaluation of the system through the value of relative proximity. Taking the system structure of metro line 2 in a certain area as an example, a compact annular traction power supply system (CA-TPSS) model is selected to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed comprehensive evaluation method for URT-TPSS.
