Abstract

A method of estimating the effect of the modes of operation of the automatic secondary frequency and power regulation and of the normalized primary frequency regulation on the efficiency of the boiler and the consumption of electric power for individual needs is proposed. The increase in the operating costs of a thermal power station due to the participation of the power units participating in the frequency and power regulation is given.
