Abstract

The Eulerian continuum description of a gas dispersion (two-phase) turbulent flow is considered on the basis of the particle velocity probability density distribution method. A refined variant of the kinetic equation for the probability density distribution in inhomogeneous turbulent flow is presented, a chain of equations for the velocity moments of the dispersed phase is constructed, and the reverse influence of the particles on the characteristics of the carrier flow is determined.
