Abstract

Spectra of backward produced nucleons are measured in the π t-d → π −pn reaction at incident pion momenta of 371, 438 and 552 MeV/ c. A difference between proton and neutron spectra is observed caused by Δ 33-resonance formation at the pion rescattering on nucleons inside the deuteron.
