Abstract

In this paper, an enhanced differential carrier phase extraction method for carrier-suppressed wideband signal in CEI measurement is proposed. Based on Costas loop, after orthogonal transformation, low-pass filtering and phase detection, the differential carrier phase of the received signal of the two measuring stations can be obtained directly. It is more efficient comparing with the traditional method, which extracts the carriers respectively and then differentiate their phase. At the same time, its working frequency is the frequency of carrier, and will not lead to the phase ambiguity caused by doubling frequency, phase ambiguity solution is not needed. For the ambiguity of anti-tangent phase detector, correct differential carrier phase can be obtained under the constraint of the priori delay model. The Monte Carlo simulation results show that the method has a small error and stable performance in different SNR.
