Abstract

In recent years, singing and dancing have become a common way for the elderly to exchange entertainment. The generated pulse waves contain important information, and we can analyze the pulse waves to analyze the change in their mental state. In this study, the pulse waves were measured before and after the singing activity in daily life, and the LLE (largest Lyapunov exponent) and ANB (autonomic nerve balance) were calculated. It was found that after singing, the LLE will rise and the ANB will converge around 5. It can be thought that singing is a way of regulating mental state.
