Abstract
In the past twenty years, traditional manufacturing industry has great influences on China’s economic growth but it meets more and more difficulties in the new economy. This paper aims to trace the successful organization design of firms in traditional manufacturing industry that have sustainable development in the new economy evolution. So this paper first reveals the relationship between organization design and new economy evolution for traditional manufacturing. Then put forwards an empirical analysis with firms in Lanxi cotton textile industrial cluster in Zhejiang province. The results show that the new economy evolution has a positive effect on organization design. In detail, in the five factors of new economy evolution, only the resources in new economy has a negative influence to organization design.
