Abstract

This paper takes GovHK for example and makes an empirical study on the improvement that Web2.0 brings to government website's ease of use. It focuses on two typical applications of Web2.0: one is RSS, the other is Tag. It builds some models to compare the effects before and after implementing Web2.0 in government website, then makes quantitative analyses through information distance theory and comes to a conclusion that the implementation of Web2.0 has significantly improved the government website's ease of use.
