Abstract

This paper gives empirical content to the conceptual literature regarding internal theft. Specifically an instrument is designed to measure employee theft attitudes and relate them to accepted measures of job satisfaction, alienation, and motivation. Results from bivariate and multivariate procedures indicate that theft is significantly related to the other factors.
