Abstract

results for the noninteractive, interactive, independent multiplicative and Taylor Series Approximation 1 and 2 validity generalization procedures are presented when there is nonzero sampling error. In general, the results of this study indicated that the five validity generalization procedures yield similar estimates of the fully corrected mean and variance of true validity coefficients. The practical implications of these results are that the five validity generalization procedures will lead to the same general conclusions regarding the effectiveness of a predictor measure.
