Abstract

This paper discusses some possible roles for emergency pollution accident in drinking water sources. Different procedures have been developed to measure the pollutants content of drinking water both in normal and in emergency situations, such as those arising from accidental and terrorist events. The authors analyze the primary factor of emergency pollution incident in drinking water sources and give general principles of emergency monitoring about emergency pollution incident. And according to different stage the paper gives a sequence about preferential control pollution; the test items were presented the choice to start the first level and second-level monitoring. The paper describes the procedures of emergency monitoring; these provide the rapid and full technical support to water security monitoring and offers reference for the corresponding reference monitor department.
