Abstract
Abstract This paper describes a simple and inexpensive instrument capable of giving simultaneous DC voltages proportional to the three-phase active and reactive power in a system. It is based on the two wattmeter method and employs time-division multipliers using easily available integrated circuits. This instrument is particularly suitable for recording transient fluctuations in power systems and automatic control of power or the power factor
