Abstract

An 80-year-old woman with a history of hypertension, congestive heart failure, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, and atrial fibrillation presented to the emergency department with progressing lower abdominal pain accompanied with difficult defecation for 4 days. Nausea, anorexia, fever, and hematochezia were noted for 2 days.
