Abstract
75歳女性．独居後より抑うつとなった．めまいと経口摂取不良のため，近医病院に入院した．当院来院2日前より医師の診察で外眼筋麻痺を認めたため，当院に救急搬送された．神経所見として意識障害，外眼筋麻痺，腱反射低下を認めた．ビタミンB1 9 mg/dLと低値だった．ビタミンB1補充により神経所見は改善した．高齢者では抑うつによる摂取不良のために低ビタミンB1血症を来している可能性があり，ビタミンB1の検査と補充を行う必要がある．
