Abstract
The problem of optimal filtering and smoothing of the processes described by shaping filters in the framework of the state-space approach are considered. An economical, from the computational standpoint, algorithm for the problem of smoothing and filtering is suggested. The results are illustrated by a methodical example as well as for the problem when the gravity anomaly is determined from an aircraft by using precision satellite measurements of altitude.
