Abstract

In this article, an efficient parallel computing method is described based on the message passing interface (MPI) for the steady-state analysis of low-frequency electromagnetics. Two frames of reference (the Eulerian frame and the Lagrangian frame) are used to account for the magnetic field behaviors with rigid-body motions, and an anti-periodic condition is exploited to reduce simulation time. The performance of the algorithm is demonstrated by two application examples.
